That's right—there's nothing to buy, nothing to sell, and no volunteering required to make this fundraiser a success!
Beginning Sunday, August 2, you'll find a display of Red Envelopes in the narthex.
Participating is easy:
  1. Choose one Red Envelope numbered 1–200.
  2. Return your envelope by Sunday, September 13, 2026, with a donation that matches the number on your envelope.
    • For example, if you choose Envelope #50, simply return it with a $50 donation.
You can return your Red Envelope in any of these convenient ways:
  • Place it in the offering plate.
  • Drop it in the locked Red Mailbox (cute idea, right!).
  • Give online using the donation link that will be provided.
Bonus Challenge!
If 92% of the Red Envelopes are returned by September 13, 2026, the congregation will have the opportunity to Dunk the Pastor!
More importantly, the No Fuss Fundraiser is about encouraging a spirit and tradition of generosity in people of all ages. Every gift helpsSGUMC continue serving our community through ministries such as Hypothermia, Community Dinner, and Kids' Day Out/Off. These ministries strengthen our discipleship, extend Christ's love to our neighbors, and welcome others into our faith community.
